I always considered joining the armed forces from an early age, my love for the outdoors and constant need to try new things fuelled this possible career choice. Towards the end of my time at university this became more apparent, but if I was to do this I wanted to be the best so I started dreaming of becoming a Royal Marine Commando. I have always been an active person, with a reasonable fitness, but this needed much much more. Dean helped me develop my fitness and focus my mind on the challenge that lay ahead. Thanks to Dean's coaching methods and my commitment I was accepted into Royal Marines training. Two years later and I am a Royal Marine Commando, recently returning from a 7 month tour of Afghanistan. Without Dean's coaching and encouraging words I may never have got to where I am now.

At university I put on a lot of weight and stopped playing rugby and was not sure what I wanted to do as a job. My confidence was low as a result of this. Thanks to Dean and Warrior Coaching I have lost weight and my fitness is a lot better. I now play rugby regularly and I have a job that I enjoy. My confidence is also sky high.

I have always considered myself a positive and aspiring person. However, I have often lacked the drive and conviction to achieve some of my goals whether partly through fear of failure or just plain laziness! Warrior Coaching has changed all of that forever. Opening yourself up is tough at first but the discomfort soon gives way to reward. Dean's method of teaching gives you the belief that 'You Can, And Will' achieve your highest goals through organisation and determination. For me, the spin-off of these now daily achievements are contentment and happiness, and that is what it is all about!

I met Dean through a training community website. I joined to get some information and some guidance in improving my fitness. I had struggled for years to maintain my weight and fitness, and often set goals and failed miserably. Confidence was never one of my strong points, until now.
I started a coaching program with Dean with an open mind, not really understanding what it would entail or require me to do. Well, I can say that it was one of the most mind-opening experiences of my life. After just a few sessions with Dean, I was making better decisions, remaining focused and achieving the goals that I set.
The main objective I wanted to achieve with the coaching was the ability to set and reach goals, figure out what exactly it is I want with life, and how to get there.
Dean's method is very passive, he makes you realise quite quickly that you have the answers to all the questions that you have, what Dean does is provide with you insights and tools for you to use to tap into your own knowledge, and balance your decisions against your values, this for me is very powerful and has quickly bought a level of peace of mind, motivation and confidence that I've not experienced before.
If you are thinking of having some coaching for an aspect of your life, don't hesitate; get on with it, the quicker you do, the quicker you can get on your own path of achievment. I will stay in touch with Dean even though our coaching programme has finished, I regard him as a friend as well as a coach. Cheers for your help Dean!
